How to create a Sales Tax Exempt Account
If you are purchasing as a tax-exempt entity such as a non-profit, educational institution, government agency, or religious organization, please create an account then email us a copy of your Letter of Exemption or signed Certificate of Exemption at firstname.lastname@example.org. Once we receive it, we will update your account and notify you that your account is ready to make orders.
Wholesalers purchasing with the intent to resell also qualify for sales tax exempt purchases. After creating an account, please email (email@example.com) us a completed and signed Certificate of Resale for the state(s) you have a resale permit. Once we receive it, we will update your account and notify you that your account is ready to make orders.
Illinois Resellers can fill out a CRT-61.
Restrictions for Sales Tax Exempt Accounts
Once an account is sales tax exempt, orders can only be shipped to the state for which the sales tax exemption was applied. Shipping orders to any other state is not permitted and will be cancelled automatically. To ship any other state, another account must be created with a different email.
